Sharks welcome Michele Maramot as new Club Administrator

Michele Maramot was raised in Virginia Beach, and has lived in Williamsburg with her husband and three children for 8 years. Michele is the proud mom of three boys, all soccer players with the Tidewater Sharks. She has been a Radiologic Technologist for 10 years and enjoys taking care of her patients at Williamsburg Urgent Care right here in town. Michele is an active member at Lifepointe Christian Church where she is the assistant teacher in one of the elementary classrooms on Sunday mornings. When not on the soccer field with her boys, she enjoys spending time with family, crocheting, reading, and volunteering. Michele’s family has been a part of the Tidewater Sharks for 7 years. They have seen all levels of play from AP Sharks all the way to the VPSL. In those 7 years she has watched her boys excel both on and off the field. The lessons her boys have learned have not only improved their soccer skills but have taught them invaluable things they will carry with them for life. She loves how being a Tidewater Shark is more than just signing your child up to play soccer, it is becoming part of a family. Her family has formed bonds with other soccer families that will last a lifetime. Michele says, “I am blessed to be a part of The Tidewater Sharks and I am excited to watch the club continue to grow. I look forward to working with the staff, coaches and parents to provide the best experience for all players and their families.”

“Michele has been behind the scenes helping the club for a long time. She has been willing to do anything to help; from head team manager, club rep, carding, concessions and even uniform printing. Michele has helped tremendously along the way and we are excited to have her join the team. She will be the direct line of communication with our team managers and will also be helping parents with off the field questions. We know communication is so important for our families, and Michele will immediately improve this. We have seen the club grow exponentially over the past few years, and officially adding a club administrator is a milestone for the club.

In addition, we are extremely lucky to have so many other parents give their time to help the club. I am excited to provide them with Michele who will be a key person in the communication line. Michele has a big heart, goes above and beyond, organized and is a pleasure to work with! It has been a long time coming, but I am glad I can officially say Welcome to the Sharks!”- Martin Vickerton, Club Director
